Curious about what an average Sunday morning is like? Here's a snapshot:
We always enjoy worshiping with and meeting new people. Our building has a steeple and a bell we proudly use Sunday mornings to ring in the beginning of our services. You can expect a warm welcome and a friendly smile as you walk through the doors. In the entryway, we spend some time connecting face to face with one another before the service time begins.
After a short pause, Pastor Roger (and the occasion a church elder or visitor) will bring a message to us. Most often, we follow a study through a book of the Bible verse by verse. We take the Bible seriously; it's our guide for living. The Bible has brought divine insight into our lives; so we believe expository, verse by verse teaching, is important to keep everything in context.
The 9 and 10:30 services are nearly identical in regards to what happens in the main sanctuary space. In other parts of our building, there are also activities going on during both of the Worship Service for children and adult classes during the 9am service.
There are no adult or children's Sunday School classes during the 10:30am service. However, there is a room designated for kids through age four with supervised play and activities during the 10:30am service.
